1. There are three key problems in the prison: health, food and overcrowding. Based on our communication with prisoners, we would add that a further problem is social rehabilitation, particularly for young people. Their reintroduction to mainstream society is an ever-present worry, as much of a constant concern as getting through each day. Unfortunately, dealing with social reinsertion, as with overcrowding, is not something that we can address immediately, due to lack of resources. However, we remain painfully aware of these issues and their importance.
