Background

À l’ombre de l’Espoir (AOE) is a not-for-profit association, established in Belgium in 2006. It is currently active in a prison in West Africa. It is apolitical and non-religious and has two key goals: provide healthcare for prisoners and improve their quality of life.

The association is made up of healthcare workers, teachers, academics from all disciplines and volunteers. It cooperates with religious organisations that work in the prison and through its own local organisation.

Vacancy

We are looking for a stagiaire to undertake a comprehensive review of all EU, national and international funding opportunities over an approximately three-month period.

Skills and experience

Languages - French and English to a high standard

Qualities -  The successful applicant needs to be able to work independently and show considerable initiative.
